Pre-set the 1-800-EXHAUST (394-2878) number in your cell phone so you’re ready to record smoking vehicles, hands free!

Voice-recording – one of the best tools you can use

Voice record vehicle details and make a report after you've stopped driving. Check your phone to see if you have a voice record feature.

Dial in on smog

If you don't have 1-800-EXHAUST on speed dial yet, #SMOG (7664) is a quick alternative to calling in a report. Service available through select cell phone providers.

Smoking vehicles, take note

Keep a pen and pad handy when traveling. If you can't make a safe report by phone, you can always take down the vehicle's information for later.

Reporting is great – being safe is better

Be Safe! Pull off the road and park in a safe location before you dial in, write down or voice record notes to report later, or have a passenger call in the report. Another great reason to carpool!
